More iterating! This time it's silhouette style. I think this method is used by a lot of character designers to get the form down first.I chose the hooded, white face look a long time ago, but I was too busy to go off to make variations.
Below each monster there are secondary sketches illustrating how it moves around and how it looks when chasing.
My original design is the center monster (third one). Which monster do you like the most?

I find the one on the far right (knife-n'-fork guy) quite funny tbh.
But he also has a psychopathic quality to him. After all, he seems to want not only to eat you, but to eat you with cutlery, like a gentleman. XD
I also think that the fewer facial details a monster has, the scarier it gets. Maybe 'cause you can't really tell what it's thinking or what mood it's in. Something like that.
Either which way, the face on the blade-limbed thing is unnerving. O.o

Glad you like the middle one? I do like the face but apparently a lot of people found it pretty unscary :s. So I went off to design more.

Yes I have! I was starting to think I was ripping other games off to be honest. But I really liked the looks, and my lecturers seemed to like them too.
I've only really properly played Persona 4 though, none of the others. Thanks for your input!

I like the second from the right the best. Looks like, well not sure what it looks like,maybe reminds me of trinity type designs with three symmetrical ends. Is the last guy coming over for dinner?
