Is this right to get the custom plane's design in the game, I have the design under A6M5 folder in the PF+FB+AEP, so I think the design should be able to be used in the game. How ever it doesn't show up under file for plane's skin when I choose the plane it doesn't show, all it says is defult and void. I don't get it, I've seen other's who have gotten their own design in the game, so why can't I. so to those who see this and have the game Pacific fighters, I ask you is this the right setting to get the skin in the game for the plane ?Related content

Ok I just wandered across this. This is what the file should be:
1024 x 1024, file size is 1MB, index color, 8bit, 256 color
If it matches all this, it should show up when you select the skin you want to fly. I forgot to convert to index color and the total file size was too big so it didn't work.

well.. here you have enabled the download of custom plane skins from other players that play with you in the same server.
In order to make your own skin design, you should copy the original skin file, then edit it in any software you choose, save it, name it your way but you HAVE to have the same file extension as the original (for example, "void.bmp" so the name can be "P-40-USA-China43.bmp").
So, the skins are located in the Skins folder under this directory [...\Pacific Fighters\PaintSchemes\Skins] then you chooose the plane name and edit the skin.
With the new design in place, you start the game and go to single mission mode (or custom mission), then you choose the plane you have made a design for, you press the button next to the plane row, and under the "choose skin" or just "skin" row you press the little arrow down and find the new skin in plase.

I have it in the directory under A6M5, it is an A6M5 design, I try with this, under skin it just usaully shows defult and void.

ok I downloaded the game yesterday and you know on il2 and pacific fighters you can't fly the b29 and all those other planes you wan't to fly with out haveing to download them. On Fighter Ace you can fly all the planes you wan't. Do you play online games becuse the game is online though you have offline as well any ways if you wan't to download the game just go on www.airattack-central.com and click FA3 Launch

check the file extension, maybe you saved it as "jpg" and not "bmp".
if it's not the problem, then I don't really know, it should work though.

Then I don't know.
The file MUST be exactly as the original, except for the new colours on wings and stuff. Meaning, the resolution, the colour compression (256bit I think) must be the same as the original.
