Arthur had no choice in the matter.

He desperately tried to separate himself from this strange and alien machine, but it over-powered him. Instead of killing him, it took his body and turned it into a weapon. The agents in pursuit faced with the now armor clad figure, and met their fate. The machine instantly recognized them as hostiles and rushed their position. Inside of the helmet, all Arthur could do was hold his eyes shut. However, that didn't help in trying to block out the death. The machine had wired into his nervous system, into the core of his very being. Through the diodes, Arthur could still see. His ears now had the clarity that would leave most canines in envy. His sense of scent was elevated far beyond human normal.

So he watched the machine. He watched as it used blades that extended from his forearms to cut the agents into pieces. He watched with the clarity of a high speed camera as the blood and intestines filled the air in a sudden and violent burst. Arthur watched as the smell of iron filled his nose.

All Arthur could do was watch.

He wished and hoped that he hadn't.
