I'm just trying to get back into the swing of drawing with this piece. I've been spending far too much time with Bungie's 'Destiny'.So, I decided to actually imagine how Maria came across the darkling (and picture what it looks like!). The scenario was that she was trying to retrieve another set of true armor from a laboratory known as Bureau 13, instead she found a creature that would transform her into 'Darkness'.

Yes it is!
However I wanted to give my story depth and meaning to it. I also wished to explore the psychological aspects of it.
Right now, she's only 5 in the story. She'll later be 16 (the present time in which the main story takes place).
Afterall, I'm sure Bruce Wane had a very happy childhood before his parents were taken from him.

The reason why I asked was because I know a great many writers and artists who seem to think of great characters that never seem to take them anywhere. I'm glad you have a clear-cut adventure in mind for this cartoony and over-the-top character.

Thanks. She share similarities w/ Maria, but instead of an outside force controlling her, w/ Celia it's an inside force - her suppressed inner child, who is her 2nd personality - her toon form is the physical manifestation of that inner child that never grew up!
