Happy Birthday to me, everyone! Today, I turn 40. That means I'm basically dead and that there is no way for me to obtain any bit of relevancy for the rest of my life. Still, I want to take a crack at doing a serious effort of remaking/remastering the 2016 effort for Grafted.

So, over the last week, I put together a proof of concept for what that comic would look like with my style and techniques of today.

We're in a strange and ever-changing world at the moment. Speaking specifically of art and its creation, we're in a world of ever advancing AI technology. The ethics of which are now entering the courts and debate in house representatives. This site, DeviantArt, is now drowning in AI images and I must admit... It's taken the wind out of me. At the start of this year I wanted to do three uploads a week to DeviantArt. But, in the face of users that were uploading dozens of images a day and potentially hundreds or even thousands of images to their profiles... I didn't see much hope in making any headway.

So, I stopped uploading. I think it's fair to say that my uploads will continue to be sparse and sporadic at best. I figured it was fair to speak about it openly here, especially now that my Birthday has arrived.

So, I'll still do uploads. I will maintain this presence on DeviantArt. Just don't expect any large movements to grow. That ship has sailed.
