Again, this should not be considered cannon for Gwen Collins or Virtue. This event is far into the future of what's actually been written so far. With that said, yes, that's a pair of wings on the Reborn Heretic's back. As far as the suit's abilities go, this is a bit of a downgrade from the True Armor. The Pure Skin doesn't have the same ability to absorb impact. Much of the Pure Skin's neuro-net is analog, which reduces Gwen's ability to dodge attacks. The blades on her arms are also more like claws rather than the mysterious 4th-dimensional material of the True Armor's blades.
She still maintains a robust sensory suite. She still retains bio-generated projected energy weapons (the wings fold to form 'canons'). A part of the premise is that she thinks she'll lose herself to the suit, and she fights to keep her consciousness. What she doesn't realize is that the suit is trying to will itself to her, not the other way around. The sensation is similar to the cusp of falling asleep, Gwen feels as if she's plunging down a deep hole.

Nice man! i like it, but i feel that it is not as dark as Darkling, but maybe it is the best of both worlds. Just wondering, can the suit sprout out tendril-like hair if she wants to and shapeshifts like a Darkling, or Pure Skin only as one form and appearance only?

The Pure Skin is a fusion of a True Armor nervous system and a Darkling's body enhancement. Like a Darkling, the more the host melds with it, the more the suit's appearance will change. With that said, the darkling doesn't have too many shapeshifting abilities. It can't mimic clothes like Venom can. To conceal itself it actually recedes into the host's body.
With the Pure Skin, the host has the choice to have it recede into the body or reform into a pod (just like a True Armor).

I have to finish Virtue DA Edition. There are at least two or three other adventures before Gwen gets to this point. That's why I'm suggesting not to take these pages too seriously. For all I know, a better idea could come up and replace this one (if I even get around to writing it in the first place).

For once the heroes self control is not helpful. Usually it's the other way round. Always nice when typical expectations get turned on their head.
Although it would be better if you hadn't pointed out that plot point. Could've served as a neat twist. Hopefully you find some time and energy to continue your story. And I wouldn't say no to some more of your gorgeous drawings.

No, she's very much the protagonist still. That will also be the last of her super-powered adventures (she liberates the Earth from alien occupation). She then silently slips out of history, never to be heard from again.
