Today's prompt: MindlessI added the other prompt violence to fit my Halloween theme this year of 'War of the Worlds' by H.G. Wells and later panicking America with the adaptation by Orson Welles.
In this, I stylistically recreated a scene from the 1953 Paramount Pictures film of the same title. Uncle Matthew, pictured here, attempted one last time to make peaceful contact with the aliens before he was senselessly gunned down. He deserved better. He and Barb of Stranger Things have a lot of stories to swap.

I watched it and I have the DVD, the first time i saw the martian i had nightmares for a month (i'm not joking), plus the sound of the machines is still intimidaing for me. It's a great movie, better than the Tom Cruise's one
