Rebecca had done more than just embrace the symbiote. It had already been four days and she had yet to transform back into her human form. She wasn't even sure she could return to her human form. The experience of having the symbiote was so new and exciting. She had lost count of the days herself. Any rational person would have at least kept track of how often the sun rose and set. Rebecca hadn't. It was as if she were on a prolonged rave.The only indication that time was passing was that she was growing hungry. The site of a sandwich or a bowl of fruit didn't appeal to her, however. She started stalking for something. Like a cat on the prowl for a mouse, Rebecca was looking for prey. She didn't yet know what suited her fancy, but she'd know it when she saw it.
