because if you made him look retarded on purpose then that is pretty stupid, but if it was on accident I understand, but you can still practice on fixing it.

At the time of writing it I did mean some offense, I think his face looks pretty dumb. Don't get me wrong though I like the _entire_ rest of the picture.
And what I meant when asking if "it" was on accident or on purpose, I meant did you mean to make him differently than the original character? (first go or not)
You said you just draw it and don't change it so that would mean accidentally, some artists _purposely_ change features of the characters they draw... I don't know why I guess they like drawing it differently?
By accidental I mean you _want_ the picture to look exactly or as close as possible tot he original character, but it doesn't turn out that way and you don't care enough or you just don't want to try and make it look closer to the original.
Based on what you sent and my definitions, I'd say you accidentally made his face different than the original Sousuke.
Accidental or not, I didn't really mean any offense, I was just curious if you liked and wanted him to be different.

and also, it's just some random person on the internet, why would you take offense if he says your drawing's face is stupid? I have many flaws in my artwork, feel free to bash me to your heart's content. (although I rarely, almost never, upload anything to dA, I don't really like the layout of things... but I'm going to try to upload more stuff in the future)

with the stuff I do, what you see is what you get. None the less if he looks retarded or not. I do better myself constantly, however upon this it would only make the picture look worse in quality (going back, erasing shading, redoing the shading, and it may not go with the rest of the picture). As for your 2 points, both of your points revolve around 2nd one you stated. So in response to this, I drew him like that, so it is on purpose. Stupid or not in your mind, thats the way it went and it will stay that way. I would take you ideals into mind if it was put in constructively criticized wording, but telling any artist, if he did it on purpose or not, in which it is ALWAYS purposely done, that is not constructive.
Srsly I'm not trying to be rude or anything but I did take offense to your statement, minor or not in offense, it was enough to get my attention to write this.
If you meant nothing by it or didn't want to put it that way, its all well and good.

The finished product looks great. I love the realistic shading... the only thing that keeps coming to my attention is that it looks like their hands are a bit on the slender side, even considering perspective. Other than that, really awesome! The background is gorgeous...

Thanks for the input. I have to work on the hands later in the future, I had to use my own hands for the perspective touch. I'm not gonna mess with this one though because I tend to screw up pieces when I do stuff like that. Best to keep it the way it is, trust me.
