Description
As you can see, we're getting closer to the final design with the long forelimbs and other aspects carried over from V1. I still wanted to experiment with a centipede-like body structure with numerous hind-legs. Unlike the final design where the draining vines would shoot out from holes on the sides of the torso, here they'd be flailing around on its back. This was also around the time where I decided to incorporate design features from The Garden's segments, as seen with the single "inner jaw" akin to the Soldier segment, instead of the Graboid-like tentacles sported by the final design. Honestly there's not much to see here, as this piece wasn't developed very far before I nailed down the final design in my head and got to work making it. Still, this is an interesting "missing link" between the first concept and the final design.
