I always wondered how deadly this weapon would be if it was chambered with the 9x39 cartridge

Sorry, mate, but this is too preset for the Armory's gallery.

They're accurate, has a fast fire-rate, but the only part that sucks is they're a bitch to clean.... But I'd still have one!

Yeah, but the close parts together and design make for an accurate weapon. However, when you put the parts too close together, E.G. the M16, you start having misfires and malfunctions like crazy... In the AK47, the parts are further away then both the MP5 and the M16, so it works really reliably but putting everything so far away makes the rifle not as accurate... Most Assault-Rifle companies try to find a happy-medium between the two. Also, when the Russians made the AK-74 and Century-Series AKs, they moved the parts a little closer together for better accuracy, while still keeping them far enough apart to maintain flawless operation. The Assault-Rifle makers in the Western part of the world could really take a hint from the modern Kalashnikov Series...

Agreed on that brother but everything's a compromise especially weapons. The Russians have it down to a science. The AR-15 requires a push assist I mean WTF that's just a temporary fix for a flawed design.

Very true, but on the contrary, I've used an M4 pattern AR-15 with no problems. I attribute that to the fact the gases don't have to travel far with the shorter gas tube. They still maintain pressure enough to fully make the bolt cycle and the action to work. But with the longer barrel, longer gas tube M16 set-ups... It shows no promise. The system works great for M4s and CAR-15s but bad for M16s.

The M-4 still needs to be modded more for combat, more than has already been done. They need to change the gun to steel and make it so tough that you could run over it pick it up and it would fire.

Like the AK? heh heh... I saw a video of that once, car goes to speed off, they shoot the guy in the back seat, AK falls out the window and gets ran over by the car. The defender then picks the AK up and fires at the car as it speeds away.
