Description I was a live-in caretaker for a developmentally disabled adult for my first year of school. I made this thinking about my roommate, who struggled through even the most "basic" tasks such as eating. He had to be reminded what he was doing every couple of minutes or else he would forget...

Bronze casting.

Wow, that's quite a compliment, thank you.
I looked that book up online, I am SO checking that one out. Things like that fascinate me.
Neuroscience, what are you studying to be taking classes such as this?

Hello, sorry for the late response, I got so many comments and went off and got myself sick...
But, thank you very much for your comment and the fav. This has shown in a couple of gallery shows, and I hope to show it in more. Ultimately, I would like to finish the set and show it that way. I've got a few ideas kicking around.

Thats a really cool physical presentation of human hardship. The purpose is sad, but couldn't be clearer to those that take mobility for granted.

On one hand the purpose is sad, yes. But at the same time, his playful personality helped inspire this as well, so I like to think there is a balance.

Thanks for your comment... You became a deviant on my b-day! That's a cool b-day present!

I agree with you. Too often I find concept is another way of saying "poor craftmanship". I strive to bring out the best in both. Thanks again.
