I left 044 so I guess I should begin submitting my peices. I'll post a journal later if you want to know why, just don't ask in this topic.Anyways I made this out of inspiration of a Contemporary Christian song, also called Meet with Me. Kind of get that feeling with the 2 brushed parts of the render, and then I added some nice 2d behind it all. Forgot how long it all took to make, but I hope you like it.

i remmember the old days... when I was doing tech work... the 2d on this is really sexy by the way.... i dont know why i stopped... with tech i mean.... maybe its cause theres no more sexy stock renders and i suck at 3d.... idk.... my god this is so awesome... im just letting my mind wander... its so beautiful... theres so much to look at...

great peice. i love the color, the mood and the texture on the shattered bit is great. The 2D does seem to stand out a bit too much, but it still works. Also to enhance the great background atmospheric brushing youve got going on try to do a bit on top of the render itself to get some depth- a bit goes a long way

I really like that shattered render, and the colour mix you have used, the lighting up is very well balanced too.
