You know, I get tired of seeing people being flamed because of a pairing, its just wrong, and it is a type of predjudice, and I truely think such actions should be spoken out against.This is not limited to Avatar only, I believe that in any show, people are entitled to like whatever they wish, if I dont like it, I just dont look at it

Yeah! Not to mention that if someone has gone to the trouble to write a story or draw some art for your enjoyment, appreciate the work that went into it and take it for what it is. Art is not a deli where you get to order what type of bread you want, no onions, no lettuce, no tomato, mayonnaise, no mustard....
And if you shut your mouth and open your eyes and ears, you just might learn something.
I have a suspicion that most of the people bitching about this stuff are kids. Even though...many many of the teens here are FABULOUS...I just think that reacting to a work of art that way shows a lack of understanding.

well the problem is. though it is kids with pairings like this, it iis mostly adults and teens when it comes to Yaoi. and sadly that is were most of the hate happens.
I used Avatar as an example, but unfortunatly it happens in all genres TT__TT it just makes me sad

I meant teens...not little kids of course. Hopefully little kids are not exposed to yaoi! EEKS! I guess I'm not totally surprised that there are some ignorant and hateful adults out there...I'm not that naive...but still.
