December belongs to me. Please read Artist's CommentsEdit: Please note, December is NOT a 'furry'. Anthro would be the correct term. I will never use this character for anything porn related, and she is not 'nude', as she has her own permanent coat of fur. I see this as being no worse then Donald Duck, or Bugs Bunny. Please do not presume that a character who is a hybrid of human and animal shape is a 'furry'. The term has obtained too many negative connections.
Edit: Pretty close to done now. There are still a few things I am not happy with, mostly in the face, and I might do at least on more pass to fix those, and anything else I might notice.

The front pose has been completed, minus small tweaks I might still do, but in a fashion, this is still a Work in progress for my fox Reploid December. The eventual idea is to have a full reference sheet for her, both in armor and out of armor.
This image is also feature on her RP account, ~DecemberMatosai which is owned by me.
Oi. And I decided I had finally created a good display pose, so you might see similar S-curve poses in my gallery with different female characters. I thought about the pose just being one that had the character standing straight with an arm down and an arm extended, but I like the flow of this pose better. I find having a standard pose to work from frees me up from a lot of the stresses that go into trying to design a character. This way a I have a nice open pose to use for design purpose, then I can change the pose in later pictures once I have decided on the design. Though, the pose may be changed slightly to better reflect the character's personality.

Yes. Β She was orginally created as a high ranking NPC for an extensive RP I was in years ago, but I liked her enough that she grew beyond that role, and became a fully developed character.

She's a Reploid? It just seems strange because Animaloids are typically more robotic in design, not furries wearing armour. Still, if you want to go that route, I'd need to see her all kitted up to fully appreciate her design. I wouldn't worry too much about the colour at this stage because portraying her primarily white while nude gives her a pure, Amaterasu-like look.

It was based on another RP I was in for a long time. She is what is known as a Fleshed type Reploid by the standards of the RP and was not unusual there. I could have made her an Exo type, but decided I wanted to try something different. Fleshed types can ditch their armor in favor of clothing and have synthetic flesh. Type of animal was an idea from a friend. And please...furry has too many negative continuations anymore, I don't want people to think that is what she is, and I do take offense to people thinking anymore that that is all animal type characters are.(But I know you did not know this yet.) I use her for none of the 'furry' stuff, and never will. She is a very serious character, and I take her as such. Antho would be a better term. She has armor too already, here is the link:

I wanted this to be a reference of her natural form, and she always laughs when people say this is 'nude'. Yes, no clothing, naked, no. "I'd be naked if I wasn't covered in my own fur coat 24/7."

December is my creation. Eriance designed the armor for me, and it's design now belongs to me, that was the agreement when it was designed. I still give him credit for the original image though, as I appreciate what he did for me. And all of the color work is done by me. And yes. I meant connotations. XD

Thanks. And I got a little help from a friend on ideas of more color in the image. She's mostly white, so that left it looking a little drab originally. Though I think I might turn the lighting layer up just a bit. It kind of dulled out the color a little when I switched to a .jpg

I was kinda wondering on a definite design for her. I kinda like this one. Though drawing furries has never really been my thing, I'm certainly willing to give it a shot if I ever find a need to reference her. Thanks for getting some art out! <3

XD Yep, almost have it done too. Just need a few more sessions to work on it. Yeah, I don't do a lot of anthros, but I do have a few. December, Airem and Noire are about the only ones I really use. I'll have to get Noire posted some time, but I need to come up with armor for her.

XD Yeah. Her fur is white, so figuring out what to do for shadow is fun. Oh...I haven't done the 'highlights' on this one just yet. The grayish blue is just the shadows.
