Description
Request by for the Hot Wheels Acceleracers car Iridium from the Siliencerz team, with with his Neo-Wave Rippers taste. Therefore, I bring to you the viewing public, the Iridium Version 2.0 Spec R2 aka the Wave Iridum. The body itself kept the same general shape, but the lines have been changed slightly to my style. The front is a comb pattern grill which can be sealed on the inside to prevent water from entering the engine. The rest of the body has subtle hints of hydrodynamic parts. The biggest piece would be the rims. It was a small nightmare coming up with them since I wanted something I haven't done yet and it had to fir the theme of "A car for the water". In the end, and a round of Blur, the rims you see were dreamt up. The shape is suppose to represent a paddle-like shape, meaning that as long as the top half of the wheel is above water, and the wheels are moving at speed, in theory, the car will literally be driving on water (And of course, the shape of the body helps it float).
If you look carefully, the Neo-Wave Rippers Badge can be found on the car too. Sneak preview in a way of the full set of team badges.
And like all cars I draw, specs:
Engine: Sealed V6 Twin-Turbo
Displacement: 3.9L
Horse Power: 605@7200rpm
Drive Train: Mid-Engine All-Wheel Drive (M-AWD)
Transmission: 6-speed Manual
Weight: 1.05 tons
P.S. I just realized I forgot to put doors on the thing...
