This is the 68' Mustang R2, aka the Stardust Mustang. Customized for the Rev Rider Race, it keeps some classical lines along with a mix of newer lines. I had no idea how to get the headlight of the car from the side angle, so I did my own take onto them.
The car itself is fitted with a specialized exhaust system and special rear defuser deck. Under normal circumstances, its just a defuser with regular exhaust pipes. When activated for the circumstances, the exhaust pipes narrower (on the inside) and can be used as thrusters. The defuse box becomes in a sense, vector fins, allowing the car to do thrust vectoring, increasing its maneuverability in non-surface races.
