In my honest opinion, I think than whenever a TPK happens, the P.Cs should regroup in hell.
That being said, this picture is quite awesome. gonna make it my desktop background.

Now that would make for an action-packed adventure--fighting your way out of hell!
Thanks for the positive feedback!

Geez...this is so atmospheric it just hurts because I know I'll probably never get to see this in any future game ever.
I mean, what MMO or RPG these days gives you the suspense of capture and defeat? Especially like this.
Once. Just once...I'd like my souped up level gajillion barbarian to crap his pixelated loincloth in terror. :c

Haha, yeah. I feel it's rare when main characters are put in truly dire situations. It'd be refreshing to be humbled by a dark, more powerful adversary once in a while. I'm glad you like the concept as well.
Maybe if my game development career takes off, you'll get to see it happen : D

Beautiful picture, love it. I really enjoy works that tell an entire story with just a single image, bam. The mood on this one is particularly striking

Thank you. I like how it came out. I'd like to do more of my future work with this kind of lighting and style.
Glad you like it!

amazing work! it makes me think of lotr, when they're going through the mines. Although clearly everything went horribly wrong. Wonderful work!

Thank you! It's definitely based in the world of fantasy, although being the geek that I am the inspiration came from my general interest in and knowledge of D&D...
Anyway, glad you like it!

This is some pretty epic coloring I like the posture of the figure on the very right for some reason.

Hey thanks. This is the first drawing (which isn't a study) I've done where I actually like the coloring and lighting. So it's reaffirming you like it, too!

D: You're flattered? I'm flattered you'd say something like that. lol
I like your work way better than mine. Your style, color, lighting, and textures are awesome. I'm glad you think I'm good, but In my opinion I think you "get" composition better than me. I'm doing what I can to learn from you, though.

haha thanks allot man, but i really do not think that my work is better than yours.. your reference studies are simply amazing and your technique and anatomy is allot better than mine.
but thanks for the kind words man

lol, the relativity of artists' tastes is definitely at work here. It's as if we're not able to appreciate our own styles.
I guess I can admit that my studies are pretty good, but to me it's just copying and it doesn't take very much skill – just time, attention, and patience. Coming up with entirely new color schemes and good lighting has been my major issue (something you're VERY good at!).
In my opinion, it's really the color and lighting/contrast that makes an image appealing, and it has been hard for me to really like any my work so far because they've been too dark, too light, or too monotone. Sure, I guess I understand anatomy a bit (at least, I'm not embarrassed enough to not upload them lol), but the importance of subject to me is secondary to good color use. Thus, your work appeals so much more to me since you have that down!
Oh well. I suppose we'll both just have to note what we like about the other's work and learn from each other
