Apparently Ultralisks can burrow in Starcraft 2...Enjoy! And if you're a fan of SC2 comics, feel free to check out my other comic, Marine Blues .

I always found the new burrow in SC2 funny, since everything just sorta has the top of their heads showing instead of a little hole in the ground. I guess it's so you can easily tell different units apart even when they're burrowed, but it just seems silly that no one notices that they're walking on top of a Zergling.

Yeah, I agree about the burrowing in SC2. It's a neat effect, but geez don't enemy troops look silly not being able to see them.

At least it's just that way for the Zerg player...having it be that way for everyone would just be silly.

I find this hilarious. Maybe it is my suspension of disbelief, but never for once did I think of my burrowed ultralisk was sticking out like a sore thumb when clearly they are.

: D This was just too easy to poke fun at, due to how ridiculous the concept is -- of a twenty ton monster attempting to hide in a hole in the ground. But yeah, I probably wouldn't have thought much of it either until I read a small whine about it on a random forum; something along the lines of "A burrowing ultralisk? Are you serious!?"

So is the marine sergeant here the same person as the marine with the binoculars in the other sc2 comic? And is the private (first class) the same guy asking for an example in the other sc2 comic?
Anyways, I like the sarge. And Private Fack (if you were to say FAQ as a word) is a great foil to the sarge's character.

Woa, you're a genius! I didn't even think about those two being consistent characters. The combo of having a serious, semi-intelligent character accompanied by a goofy/aloof-sounding partner is definitely a tried and true matchup often used in comedy. This opens up so many possibilities for future comics. I'm glad you asked.
Private Fack is a funny name, but unfortunately it's too close to a common swear word. I'll still consider it, though, because right now it's probably the best, most appropriate name for him : D

Well, you are among the few artists on here (or anywhere that I know of) who has created viable comic OCs for starcraft. I'd also love to see more Breakfest-lisk.

There are so many things I wish I had more time to work on these days, and now creating a starcraft comic strip will be among them. I could totally see it happening though, as I have access to a web domain and all I really need is to design a page and crank out comic strips.
For now I just need to survive this semester...
No worries about not naming the sarge. "Sarge" is fine, anyway, despite the fact that there's so many characters out there with that name. But thanks for coming up with ideas for me

Well this is a new entry to Encyclopedia StarCraftia- any zerg unit regardless of size that is under a piece of the local terrain will be rendered invisible to all but specific detector units/structures...
