Description
Yeaaah!.. I found this 2 nights ago! I was actually searching around for another image, and I stumbled upon this old one that was drawn in pencil. This is the one I was looking for about a month ago and was sad I couldn't ever find.Since it was done in pencil, I just pulled it up in photoshop, and re-drew most of the thick lines, then hinted @ some shading with thin lines. I was very tempted to just sumbit the pencil version... but I hate how dirty paper looks, compared to this clean white bg on digital images. + I will be digitally coloring this some time, just like all the others.
I really hope you like this one.
Its a pretty small drawing, but a bit of detail went into it.

This is really cool. It would look good on a Pink Flloyd CD. You're talented. I can't draw a straight line.
I'd love to see some color in your work. I think that would really brighten it up a lot. Maybe add a cool frame.

I love how this works on so many levels; it's got excellent design and tells a story in shapes. I also like how the shapes could be interpreted in many different ways, yet you still get a strong, specific feeling from this, if you know what I mean?
Plus, "found" is perfect - makes me wonder if the eye-like shape in the upper left found the shape in the middle of the piece, or if the middle-of-the-piece shape found something (it reminds me of a hummingbird, in a way, with it's probing beak, like it found some nectar), or...
Argh, I ramble! Anyway, it makes me thingk, and I thank you for that!

i love your rambles, and I know exactly what you mean about that feeling.
It always great to hear everyones thoughts.. and I can def see all the versions your pointed out! I like the one where the eye-like shape is finding the thing in the center. I enjoy looking @ it from that perspective a lot, so thanks for sharing!

its a pen that haunted me for 8 weeks until i finally used it correctly for a project and was amazed at the work it and i could do together.
i actually punch a hole in my skin with it on my hand (to get the ink to run) and caused a small tattoo on the knuckle of my pointer finger.
gotta love indian ink.
