hi there, let´s start with wikipedia mode on!Andromeda was a woman from Greek mythology who was chained to a rock to be a sacrifice to a sea monster as divine punishment for her mother's bragging. She was saved from death by Perseus, her future husband. Her name is the Latinized form of the Greek Ανδρομέδη (Andromēde). The etymology of the name is "to think of a man," from ανδρός (andros) "man" combined with μήδομαι (mēdomai) "to think, to be mindful of."

I remember a lot a old movie called Clash of the titans, i saw it when i was a kid on a drive in, with my parents an my cousin... and wow! i cant forget a lot of scenes, like the fight with medusa (Stop motion give me mor chills than the actual CG, dunno why) and andromeda chained, waitig for perseus and the monster, drako Aithiopios (in the movie is the kraken, lol wut... a weird kraken, but, is a move after all)... after that i wan to be perseus for a week

If I remember correctly, she was said to have been chained to the rock naked (must've been to help the monster's digest her easily.)

Not to nitpick or anything, buuut.. Well, it just looks to me like she could slip those chains far too easily... (Sorry, I like to consider myself something of an amateur connoisseur when it comes to bondage related stuff. )
Other than that, the pic is amazing; the lighting, the detail, everything is damn near perfect! I just wish the damsel herself was.. Secured, a little better is all.. But , that's purely a matter of personal preference!

One of my favorite greek stories.
I have a thing for girls in peril, BUT ONLY if they're actually saved at the end.
So this little story is perfect. Girl at the brink of doom and at the last second her Hero rushes in to save her.

And the best part, IMO, is that Perseus didn't even save her because he found her hot or because he knew her or anything it was more "Some girl is about to be eaten, saving her will take time away from delivering the head of Medusa, oh well..."

I know exactly what you mean. It's like the classic old "girl-tied-to-a-railway-line" trope; you don't actually want to see the train hit her, (well, not unless you're some kinda sicko.. ) you just want to savour that sense of peril before she gets rescued at the last possible second!

Maybe it's just me but it looks like she could easily slip free from the chains...then again she's still stuck on the rock so not much of an improvement.
