Im a big fan of nintendo universe, specially I love Zelda and Mario games, not only for the gameplay, also for the characthers. Miyamoto is a genius!
A friend is always making fun about the "childish" look of mario, link, etc., the fun fact is he like the gameplay of Zelda games, but he hates how Link looks.

"link looks like a girl, you know what he need? A BEARD, MUSCLES, GRIMDARK, TEXTURES, POUCHES, MORE REALISTIC, BE A BADDAS MANLY LINK!!!"

I'll stop playing Zelda the moment they start designing the characters as muscle bound angry guys that go oh so well with crap like WoW (since apparently people need to feel extra manly while playing nerdy (I normally call nerds awesome...but not in this case..and YES I'm thinking to myself withing a thought) online games)
In the next Zelda game Link is supposed to look more mature then even in TP...I think that will get rid of his "pretty boy" vibe

I love how he's supposed to be all manly and all(and he is in the pic) but he still has a little glowy fairy by him. XD But it'd be weird without Navi(depending on the game) so i guess it balances out.

Long ago I was reading a comic book and was an ad for The Four Sword. when I had seen it, I had assumed that they were planning of gathering up all of the artwork they had made up to that point of Link and put the four together. We would have the Round-nosed pink haired Hero of Hyrule original Link from the first games, the hero of Time Link complete with the yu-gi-oh-esque ability to become older, Toon Link the Hero of the Winds, and of course Link From a Link to the past, a man who has spent many years at sea and is now a hardened sea-farer with a manly beard and badass weaponry from his adventures. Of course to me, he would have long since lost most of the silly woodland garb for traces of armor and fisherman's gear, perhaps only a few shreads of the green cloth tied around a belt he uses to carry his manly sword on his back. This of course works too, but I also like to think that he had returned to Hyrule, donned mystic armor and died doing battle with the dark denizens of the twilight realm only to return and train his young replacement in the arts of swordsmanship.
