Well, after having several people ask me how to do it the latest person being *Nadyrii I decided I would do a tutorial of my own. She lit the match under my rear and got me motivated so make sure and give her a big
Anyways, I hope everything is easy to understand. I did it step by step doing screen captures of each step so you could see everything. I am a visual person so I tried to give as much visual aides as I could on this. I am kind of

thats okay ... it was just because in ps 7 you can add canvas size relatively... so there is no need for mental arithmetic anymore
btw i often use shortcuts... i think it is much faster... such as:
Ctrl + Shift + i inverse selection
Ctrl + d deselect
Alt + Backspace fill with background colour
Ctrl + Backspace fill with foreground colour... and there are some more...

Thank God! I have been wanting to know how to do this for ages! I drooled each and every time I saw them. I tried to figure it out on my own and really messed up things in a horrible way and gave up completely! I am going to try this asap! I am forever in your debt if I can manage to get it to work out for me. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. Ok, just the toes then, you need the fingers to work.
Love you for all the work you have done to help people like myself to better their art!

You did damn good! On both accounts, the typing and the work! Too late for me to try to do the border tonight, this brain is fast running on empty. Abuot to sign off and call it a night. But bright and early tomorrow afternoon (note what I just said, hehehe, plan to lay in bed as long as I can) I will get up and and if the kids will allow it, I am going to do my best. You will know if it works for me because I will be yelling from at the top of my lungs! LOL!
Serious though, that is a lot of work you did to do up that and I hope like heck that I can do it!

thank you for saying so
I was/am excited about it but also nervous cause I did it all by myself and wasn't sure if I was being clear and exact enough.

Great for a first tutorial, however one little thing, how about a number system for telling people in which order they should look at the images. Great for a first tutorial though, I have done one myself like yours but is very basic for my first tutorial atempt, you can find it here

Thanks
you really think it is needed?? cause I thought it was self evident by the fact it is only two wide and we are taught to read left to right...so thought it would be a natural progression.
