As for names, perhaps Beelzbalisk, Cadra, though the Larvalisk one did sound good, perhaps an evolution named Beelzbalisk?

hmmmm Timmy the...
Larvlit <- little + larva
Juvnile <- corruption of juvenile
Nimple <- (sounds like a nipple pimple ewwwwwwwww)
Larnimp <- larva + nymph
Avral <- larva backwards
Natchling <- natural + hatchling
think about rankings if you're going for a hierarchical evolution line like pawn-knight-king, cadet-lieutenant-general, knave-squire-king. may also help to have a specific insect to base it off of was gonna suggest Cicadet but yeah maybe you don't want to to end up a Cicada dragon.

Some names I can think of would be Inscale (Insect + Scale), Antis (Ant + Mantis), and Draggin (Dragon + Insect). Hope this helps.

While I don't have a definitive name, I have an idea for the naming of the line.Β
Maybe name them after different stages of the insect lifestyle. If it's a 2 stage line you could incorporate Nymph for this one's name and for the evolution you could pick an insect family that uses incomplete metamorphosis. If it's a 3 stage line, you could probably draw inspiration from a complete metamorphosis lineage (i.e larva, pupa, your choice of adult species).Β
