Description
The first rule of staying with the Avatar, is that you do NOT tick Aang off. Aang's Avatar state gives him almost obscene amounts of power, but you probably already knew that. So, I realized I had not done any Avatar fan art except for a tiny little piece in my Deviantart ID. Anyways, from the moment I saw Episode 9, I fell in love with this show. I still think it is the best thing that has EVER come on Nickelodeon and I am so glad that I could get my hands on the DVD set. I am debating whether or not to do more TLA stuff immediately, because I have some other stuff I want to try and do, but then againI had a lot of fun working with this one. I still do not have photoshop (dammit..) but I still have access to the graphics lab at college. (which is why it takes me so long between working on stuff). So, if you have any critique about the piece, just try and be helpful. Of course, if you want to just praise me, I will not stop you one bit. XD
PS I know his right hand is a bit funky, but it was hard to make his fist clenched like that from this angle.

Ah yes, the dust is a nice affect, however, personally, I would have liked to see more of an extended path within the wind; that is to say, I would have liked the wind to be longer and swirl more. I do understand that, although it would make the wind look "cooler," (in my eyes) it would disrupt the balance and overlap the Aang work. Perhaps you should make another peice using the wind in another subject matter, because it does look awefully smechy. ;o

Well to be honest, the scale I was working on was about 2.5 times the size of this as it is. So, working on such a large scale was a bit.... laggy. Plus, as you said, balance is important. I mean, isn't that what the avatar is anyways?

minus the scetching I can still see(which isn't that much of a biggie really I think) I still really like this peice.
