If I remember correctly, this mecha had a fire weapon but in the end scene he loses or breaks it, therefore it's forced to use the knife (giant knife, like a sword)

Hello my friend, I saw this in the folder and it definitely caught my attention.
At first I thought is was a Transformer, or at least gave me that vibe. After I saw that it was from Avatar, I thought I should take a closer look. Avatar, is one my favorites movies. The colours, the effects, the characters and how they created a language and culture for it. Really blew me away.
I am curious, will you add colour to this in the future? I think it would look nice with the lush colours of the forest in the background and the cooler colours of the mecha in the center. If not, I still think it looks nice as is. Just curious.
Looking at your drawing of the mecha, your line work, is really nice. It looks like you used two different mothods of line work for this? The line work on the mecha definitely stands out and grabs the attention of the viewer. The lines are darker, bold and crisp. It adds a mechanical look to it. On the opposite side, the lines used for the trees and plants are much softer and organic looking. At some points the lines are so thin, they don't appear to connect. Having the lines in the background and all the organic plant matter done using different lines, adds a nice balance to the over all look and feel of this piece.
For the glass window on the mecha normally, I would think it would be clear or see through. But, having your lines the ways they are and making the window coloured in dark, actually works well here. Because of the dark colour being in the center of the image, it draws the eye right to the center.
If I may make just one suggestion? Since the mecha is made of metal it has a high reflective surface. I think if you wanted to, maybe add some reflections or high lights on the some of the parts or maybe even just the window parts. Just to add a little more details just to polish it off. Other wise, I think this looks pretty cool as is. I haven't seen any one do any Avatar art in a while so this a pleasant surprise.
Thanks for sharing this. I hope my comment was useful in some way. Take care

Hey thanks for the long comment
I don't have plans to add color or shading here, I just wanted to have some LineArt examples ready when I offer commissions.
The mecha lines were made with 0.4mm and 0.8mm tip, but the background was made with 0.2mm... that's the reason for the difference in the look.

I'm doing a Mecha from F.E.A.R. videogame first. I didn't play Titanfall too much (around 1 hour maybe), but I could check out some inspiration on the Internet to see if I'm willing to do a drawing about that too
