A contest entry for Don't worry Lacus, I'm still working on your contest entry too!This is Sajira's wicked awesome character Jester, the son of the Joker. Its a "what if thing." I absolutely adore this character! And the fact that she drew her characters and comic in my favorite Batman style is great.
Anyways, this is Jester sittin' and chillin' on some beams in some random building. He is sitting next to a window looking out over Gotham. I made the background extra blurry. The Bat signal is back there...

Thanks! Jester is cool. Sajira stopped making his comics though, she wanted to make her own comics that aren't based off of someone elses characters or world.

Oh I know I love him! I'm so sad that Sajira hasn't updated her pages in like, weeks. I really hope she comes back, I adore her comics.
And thanks! I'm glad you think its that good, I went all out on Jester and thats my first city scape. I want to make a real city scape someday, I have lots of tutorials but they are really hard to use.

Oh, well like I told someone else, for all we know Sajira isn't grading on art work at all! Heck, someone drew that lizard guy and she loved it enough to redraw it in The Batman's style. Honestly I'm very worried I wont win..I really want a picture from her. But I guess even if I don't, maybe someday she will open commissions or trades. lol I'm freaking out over one silly contest XD

Thanks, but the contest has only started! I scouted out all the competition before anyone started posting entries and there were 2-3 REALLY good people who were entering...GRAH! I want that first place, I love Sajira's artwork! I'm going all out on my second piece. Its really hard to do but I'm doing my best. Thanks again!

Yep, I totally forgot about those. They are all colored, but they still need to be shaded. Though honestly they may look better without it. Eh, I'll shade them and put both versions up. Mucho later though, I'z too lazy right now.

It wasn't bad though I hated that it was so long and overly dramatic. Who makes super speeches like that off the tops of their heads? Loved the Joker's magic trick and his mini skirt.

That stupid window, I love it. The city was nothing but wierd brush stokes but they came out great. I didn't realize that fuzzy brush after the soft brush made such nice affects on buildings. Try it! Its better than pudding!

Yeah, I've seen it used in a lot of building tutorals but I never used it cause I didn't know how, you know? I still don't but its real fun using it. You get the best out of it if you mess with the opacity.
