Description
This is my part of an art trade with that I hope I didn't kill because I'm pretty late now. The request was "a drawing with a deer and a sparrow". I wanted to draw it with references because I can't draw birds very well but the only time I ever want to draw is at the uni during lectures, so I had no refs again. So that's why the "sparrows" kinda don't look very much like sparrows and the deer anatomy is.. alternative. Also the leaves of papaver somniferum don't look a lot like those I drew.

Soo.. this thing was drawn in blue ballpoint pen, with no pencil underdrawing, you can see a few mistakes in the lines because of that.. and then I actually used coloured pencils instead of doing that in Photoshop like usual. I'm not so good at working with them but it was something different for me, so it was mostly fun. Spent a whole day of seminars on it. The problem was actually the scanning because I'm not used to scanning colour and adjusting it to be close to the original. I tried, though.
Colours used: blue, light blue, orange, red, brown, light brown.
