Hey folks,this is a Tapir inlay, title says all.
Made out of some expensive veneer, but it was part of some kind of practical training course, so we got that stuff for free actually
The really bright stuff for example would be birch tree burl veneer, the dark stuff (on the tapir but also the border of the whole inlay) is ebony veneer.
Yeah yeah~
Ah and the Tapir aint no arbitrary Tapir, yo, this beautiful specimen is a Baird Tapir.
Gotta love Tapirs.
Oh oh oh and the face of the Tapir here is actually the pattern of the veneer, it's not drawn or anything.
