Has my new scanner a crappy quality?
Well, so, yeah, new scanner, I hate him already.

very cool art. And from a distance this has the look of something more along the lines of a west coast tribal...you should check that style out...your talent would be good at it.

I searched a bit through google about "west coast tribal" and found a festival site and some sites about native american art. I love native american style, a dream of mine is to learn from the guys who make totems... but aside from that, is that what you meant by "west coast tribal"?

Try a search for coast salish art...or haida art...i have some examples but am not sure quite how to put them up on here in a reply.

But no, I will never use digital media to change much about my traditional work
I am a traditional artist and will ever be. And the only way to get better drawings, cleaner lines and such, ist just by drawing even more.
I hope I'll get betteer because I know that I am not the best, my hands shake too much while drawing.. I hate it...
But we both will grow out of our mistakes my friend!
