Description
The plane of my dA namesake. This image was made back in '09 when the concepts of stealth were still being learned. Since then I've eliminated the canards, redesigned the intakes, eliminated the LERX of the wings, and redesigned the canopy.

This plane was envisioned for a fiction I was thinking about writing in the same time period I made the image. It is an 5th generation, stealthy FSW air superiority/multirole aircraft. Total missile count internally would be 6, external stores would allow that number to rise to 12 total. It would have a hybrid propulsion system with an EMLDF core with an afterburner fueled by hydrogen, which there is not a large amount of volume to carry, therefore afterburner use would be limited. The EMLDFs would be able to get the plane up to lower supersonic speeds with the afterburners giving it a Mach 1.8 maximum speed. The radar system is solid state (like a phased array) and is mounted on the nose and some other points of the aircraft to provide 360 degree radar coverage.
