UGH I hated the lasers in Quickman's level.
I never had the patience to nab that particular one-up either.

You could get it, but you either had to take a particular path, or use the stop time power (I forget who's that was).

Yes that is true, the time stop was very effective on that level. I've never managed to get that extra life without it though. If you could do it by taking a particular path then it would have to involve all of those screens. If I remember correctly going to the right on the previous screen was pretty much suicide.
