Description Another Godzilla, but no Symbiote this time.
Instead, The Hulk has decided to join the fight.
It's kinda one-sided though, unfortunately. I mean, The Hulk was created by radiation, making Godzilla's radioactive breath mostly useless. All he can really rely on is his brute strength and amazing stamina, with which the Hulk is no stranger. So, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm afraid the Hulk may well be the victor here.

Maybe Godzilla will get his re-match after he fuses with the Symbiote. Maybe I'll develop this into a full-fledged fanstory. But maybe not. Who knows.

One thing I do know is that this picture is nothing but a first draft. There will be a cleaned up version, but I don't know when.

So has the Hulk.Β  They've also both been to space, both fought evil versions of themselves, both been to Hell and beaten up the Devil...

They're basically the same character, a reaction to the Horror of Nuclear Weapons.Β  Only one is the terror of having them used used on you, the other is the terror of being the one to use/create them.

I'm under the impression that Godzilla eats radiation, Β but how does he do it? Does he eat it like a fire elemental does to fire, or does he eat something that gives off energy like one would eat a burger?

I think he more like obsorbs it. He existed in a time when the earth was coated with ten times more of natural radiation than it is now, including sunlight. Β They also mentioned that he was living further underground obsorbing radiation from the planets core. Β

hulk would have a pretty good chance of winning, if not for the fact that Godzilla absorbs radiation, which would drain the Hulk of his Gamma radiation, that and his radioactive breath is not completely useless. perhaps its radioactive properties would do nothjing against the Hulk, but it would be like a really big PUNCH TO THE FACE.
Still great art work!

LOVE the piece.
I tend to agree with the victor. I believe Hulk stands a good chance in winning. Time is against Godzilla in this match. No matter how large or powerful he is. Its been stated again & again- The madder the Hulk gets, the stronger he becomes. In the end, it really doesnt matter how big or strong the Hulk's opponent is. He's taken on beings that would even give Godzilla a hard time. As Hulk said himself, & I quote- "Maybe you see that you could be ten times stronger than Hulk, and it still would not matter. Not when all Hulk has to do is become ten times as mad!"
Hulk has no recorded limit in how strong or mad he become. Godzilla however does as proven in Goji VS Destroyah. He gets too much radiation & if he gets too mad, he goes Boom. Thats literally how it is from where I look at it. & the closest thing Goji's ever done in terms of world wide disaster was nearly turning Japan in a radioactive dump. Hulk on the other hand destroyed an ENTIRE world at one point in the Dark Dimension. (Want proof? Read Incredible Hulks #635) He is also capable of entering a stage known as "World Breaker Hulk" & is capable of shifting ENTIRE continental plates with only mere footsteps!
-In my Book, the Hulk wins. Hands down. The longer the fight lasts, the more trouble Goji is in. But then again, this is only fantasy so.....Meh, it dont matter XD

Time is actually an ally to Godzilla in this case. Godzilla absorbs radiation so the angrier Hulk is, the more radiation he'll emit. The more radiation Hulk emits the more Godzilla will absorb weakening the Hulk. So if Hulk can't finish Godzilla quickly, Godzilla will drain him like a sponge.Β

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 0

Rylexander In reply to TheTyranno11 [2013-07-16 19:38:09 +0000 UTC]

Actually, it's the other way around. While it's true that the madder Hulk gets, the stronger he gets, he also gives off increased amounts of gamma radiation as he gets angrier, which Godzilla would simply absorb. Over time, Godzilla's reaction to the Hulk's attacks would become lessened, as he would gain more stamina in response to the Hulk's radioactive output. Let's consider the "World Breaker Hulk" stage. At this point, the Hulk's attacks would be capable of knocking Godzilla out if not for one thing - the increased radioactive output which would accompany those attacks. In essence, the blow which might have allowed the Hulk to beat Godzilla would end up revitalizing Goji more than it hurts him. Therefore, the longer the fight goes, the more it favors Godzilla.

In addition, Godzilla would not have a hard time hitting the Hulk, nor would his radioactive prowess prove useless. TheΒ Hulk does not absorb radiation; in fact, he has been shown to be hurt by it. One of Hulk's alternate future selves, the Maestro, was disintegrated by a nuclear-level explosion. We can pretty much assume that Godzilla's various atomic powers match or exceed that output. As far as hitting the Hulk goes, hitting a small target with his Atomic Breath would not be an issue, as Godzilla was able to hit the meteor containing Monster XΒ while it was still in spaceΒ with his breath in Final Wars. And even that fails, Godzilla possesses a nuclear pulse which would likely incinerate the Hulk.

And while it's true that Godzilla would meltdown after absorbing too much radiation, keep in mind that that's only held true for nuclear radiation, and not necessarily gamma radiation. If gamma radiation does work that way, though, the fight would end in a draw, as the Hulk would not survive the outcome. Also, it can be postulated that the energy Godzilla would expend during the fight against the Hulk would be enough to continually keep his radiation levels in check.

Overall, a good fight, but GodzillaΒ would beat the Hulk in the end.

Great pic though I must say your views on the victor are a little off set! Godzilla and the hulk are equals, if not Godzilla being on a superiorly higher level, which he is! Godzilla has all the aspects of the hulk and more at his disposal, not to mention him being hundreds of times larger! I mean, this thing is as strong as the hulk in comparison to HIS size, capable of flinging monsters at least twice his size into space with still enough raw power to fire off a blast of his crimson spiral ray! If you think about it scientifically, the hulk really has no chance!

But also to fair Godzilla also absorbs radiation becoming stronger,(In Godzilla vs Ghidorah he grew from 80 to 100 meters) And when dying in Godzilla vs Destroyah his death would create a black hole and destroy earth(and probably the solar system, our sun doesn't have enough energy/mass to become a black hole), and the Big G's breath is also superheated and harmed other radiation created monsters.
So I don't think that this fight have a clear victor.

BurningG-HellOnEarth In reply to Tsuki222 [2012-07-14 05:44:03 +0000 UTC]

That is so true except the black hole part. When did his meltdown create a black hole?! Now, from the depiction, it looks like it might have if the military didn't intervene but they did and Godzilla was cooled just in time to save Earth. However, he did release enough nuclear energy to revive his dead son who became Godzilla 2000! But yes, the Hulk is screwed! With a breath that is not only pure nuclear radiation, but also superheated, the burns could easily scold the hulk while Godzilla's sheer size and strength could easily crush the amped human under foot! Though the Hulk is fast, he's still only brute force and Godzilla just has a lot more and a LOT more mass to add on. I mean, this thing is strong, even for it's size, able to find monsters easily two or three times larger than itself into orbit and still have enough energy to fire a shot of his crimson spiral ray! The hulk has no chance!

Actually, the Hulk doesn't give off radiation. It's simply what triggered his powers; It's not the source of it.

Also, I'm just going to leave this here:

rakaru In reply to SamuraiBrosnya [2012-11-27 22:02:06 +0000 UTC]

The Hulk does give off radiation when angered, that has changed though from one version to another. There was a plotline in the 90s where the Hulk's radioactivity caused Betty Ross Banner's death.

Everything Hulk can do, Godzilla can do. Except jump, but why would a 330foot tall monster need to jump?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SamuraiBrosnya In reply to rakaru [2012-11-27 22:25:36 +0000 UTC]

Godzilla can't do a lot of the stuff here:

[link]

I know that Godzilla destroyed Kaiser Ghidorah, but the Hulk destroyed an asteroid two times the size of the Earth, and has held up 150 billion tons before (He can probably lift much more, since he progressively gets stronger). The Hulk's healing factor is much better and acts faster than that of Godzilla. Not only has the Hulk repeatedly survived nuclear blasts, but he has survived a supernova explosion. That is much more powerful than anything Godzilla can dish out.

Also, the Hulk gets much stronger with how angry he is. People say that this is the case for Godzilla, but this is an implied feat, and acts very, very slowly. Godzilla's rate of strength growth is nowhere near that of the Hulk. Basically, the Hulk will become much stronger than Godzilla at a much faster rate, and will only continue to be stronger, ultimately leading to his victory.

Also, with the Odin Force, Thor would beat Godzilla easily, no contest. His power is canonically UNLIMITED, because of the Odin Force.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

rakaru In reply to SamuraiBrosnya [2012-11-27 22:39:38 +0000 UTC]

I looked at those, and yes he can.

Godzilla blew up the asteroid that held Kaiser Ghidorah, and that asteroid was the size of the earth (I think) on top of fighting right after he blew it up, puts Godzilla in front with physical strength. Godzilla survived getting a black hole shot at him, and black hole trumps EVERYTHING.

Godzilla's rate of strength doesn't increase with his rage, it increases with the amount of energy he has, which would be an infinite seeing as how the Hulk is constantly giving off radiation. And Hulk has a weakness against other forms of radioactivity (in the animated show) which Godzilla spews out, which would lead to Godzilla's victory.

Also, Godzilla has fought Thor, and he won. He also fought The Champions, S.H.I.E.L.D., the Fantastic Four, Devil Dinosaur, Moon-Boy, and the Avengers. Godzilla beat all of them.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SamuraiBrosnya In reply to rakaru [2012-11-27 23:01:05 +0000 UTC]

The asteroid that Hulk destroyed was twice the size of the Earth, and everyone assumes that the one Godzilla destroyed was the same size as the Earth. If it was as big as everyone says, the Hulk still destroyed something twice as big.

Also, the black hole shot at Godzilla is more like a pseudo black hole. It's not really like an actual one at all.

Many versions of the Hulk do not give off radiation. The most current version does not. Also, the animated show is not really canon with the comic books (Read Planet Hulk or World War Hulk). If that is canon with the comic books, then so are the weakest incarnations of Godzilla.

Also, Godzilla from the Marvel comics is not canon with the Toho version of Godzilla. Also, Marvel comics' Godzilla did not fight the superheroes at their peak forms. The Odin Force wasn't a thing when Godzilla was a part of Marvel, and Thor has changed a lot. Watch from 0:30-2:48 in this video:

[link]

Thor has no weaknesses whatsoever. Also, did I mention that if he swings his hammer backwards he can turn back time?

Godzilla at least stands some of a chance against the Hulk, but not against Thor. Not by a long shot.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

rakaru In reply to SamuraiBrosnya [2012-11-27 23:19:46 +0000 UTC]

Regardless of size, Godzilla destroyed the meteor and went on to fight two more monsters one that was as strong as him, Monster X, and one that was stronger, and bigger, then him, Kaiser. On top of that, regular King Ghidorah was a planet destroyer, the aliens that controlled him used him to conquer planets, and Kaiser was stronger then King Ghidorah.

A black hole is a black hole.

World War Hulk was defeated by lasers, I don't see why a guy who gets beaten by lasers is Hulks best shot at victory. Also, I use the most recent version of Godzilla because not all the Godzillas are one creature.

I am just informing you, if we were to use the comics as canon then Godzilla already won.

At the time, Godzilla fought Thor at his peak. And beat him. No matter what you say it cannot turn back time and erase that Godzilla beat Thor.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SamuraiBrosnya In reply to rakaru [2012-11-28 00:27:08 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, but Godzilla didn't display enough strength to destroy a meteor that size himself.

You say not all Godzillas are one creature, which is fair, but that applies to superheroes as well, so the strongest incarnations of the Hulk outdo Godzilla. Also, the Godzilla that shrugged off a black hole isn't the same one that blew up that meteor, so that argument becomes moot. Also, a black hole is not an explosion, and functions much differently than a supernova, so trying to compare them in terms of blast resistance is irrelevant.

Comics are not canon, and Thor was not at his peak at all. Thor is at his peak now. Current Thor has the Odin Force, as I have already explained, and is much more powerful than Godzilla.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

rakaru In reply to SamuraiBrosnya [2012-11-28 00:55:50 +0000 UTC]

But he was able to destroy an earth-sized meteor, defeat a monster on par with himself, then go one to fight a monster way stronger then him. That makes him stronger than the Hulk.

That is true for some superheroes, Hulk is not one. Banner is always the Hulk, and vice versa. The Godzilla that shrugged off the black hole is the millenium Godzilla, who was frozen, which would make them the same monster. A black hole is sever times more dangerous then an explosion, which is what I was hinting at. But if you want to get into blast resistance, Godzilla took a concentrated ball of his own nuclear energy and was just knocked back.

Comics are canon for comic book characters, as I said before if I were to include the comics Godzilla would already have won. Thor was at his pick for that time, let me say that again, Thor WAS AT HIS PEAK FOR THAT TIME and Godzilla beat him, case closed.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SamuraiBrosnya In reply to rakaru [2012-11-28 05:22:36 +0000 UTC]

That's not really linear logic right there. It doesn't show how much firepower he can deliver within one shot. Also, you never addressed the fact that the Hulk grows in power at a much faster rate than Godzilla, and has a much stronger healing factor. They may have some of the same powers, but they are more effective in the Hulk by acting faster.

None of the Millenium movies are canon with each other, besides two of them. None of the movies treat their predecessors (besides the first movie) as prequels. The only ones that do are Godzilla Against MechaGodzilla and Tokyo SOS. Therefore, the Godzilla in Godzilla vs Megaguirus is not the same as Final Wars Godzilla.

Okay, so Thor being at his peak for that time isn't Thor being at his entire peak, rendering that argument flawed. Again, comic book Godzilla isn't the same as Toho Godzilla (Toho Godzilla(s) is/are probably much more powerful), but modern day Thor would completely decimate Godzilla, end of story.
