Description
Another Godzilla, but no Symbiote this time.Instead, The Hulk has decided to join the fight.
It's kinda one-sided though, unfortunately. I mean, The Hulk was created by radiation, making Godzilla's radioactive breath mostly useless. All he can really rely on is his brute strength and amazing stamina, with which the Hulk is no stranger. So, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm afraid the Hulk may well be the victor here.
Maybe Godzilla will get his re-match after he fuses with the Symbiote. Maybe I'll develop this into a full-fledged fanstory. But maybe not. Who knows.
One thing I do know is that this picture is nothing but a first draft. There will be a cleaned up version, but I don't know when.

I think Godzilla would have a chance I mean Hulks specific power and even existence comes from gamma radiation while Godzilla's is from nuclear radiation. if Hulk got hit by Godzilla's blast he would defiantly get hurt by it. like when the Hulk faced X-ray from the U-foes, he was severely weakened by X-rays nuclear radiation (to the point where The hulk turned back into Bruce Banner). now imagine X-rays power and boost that power a thousand fold, thats what you get with Godzilla.
Even if The hulk could stand against that amount of Nuclear power, he would still be sent flying by the sheer force of the blast.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a Hulk lover, but I also worship Godzilla so thinking about this took me awhile.

Marvel Godzilla is extremely strong. However judging from the fact that for its entire course fans asked for him to fight hulk, and they never did, I believe toho had the contract say no one is stronger than Godzilla. Its just a guess though.
1. We see marvel Godzilla is more or less equal with Thor as far as strength goes. At the same time we also find out that the empire state building can apparently take both of them pushing as hard as they can on either side of it.. so take from this what you will..
2. Godzilla's breath is highly concentrated radiation in Marvel. Considering nuclear fall out from the atomic bombs were composed of gamma radiation (correct me if I'm wrong) I'd say his beam is just pure Gamma. I'd discount it from the fight as being a useful weapon. It might've put the human torch down but I only see it helping Hulk. =/
3. Godzilla's strength and ray appear to be weaker than his movie counter parts. he also lacks any special abilities seen in the movies. He doesnt heal, he cant hold his breath for long periods of time, he's not particularly bright. He also doesnt have that impossible weight if I recall.
I'd say Hulk might win.. but Hercules and Thor have both tried their luck and niether managed to do more than piss him off. They were both working with a team too. Strength alone wont beat Godzilla, he needs to apply some battle strategy. With a little bit of planning ahead of time, Godzilla has always been the loser.
So I say the favorite to win is Hulk, since he has on occasion used smarts to win (Juggernaut). His strength will just give him more equal footing. That doesnt mean that I'm not putting my money down on the Big-G though.

And also don't forget that the angrier Hulk gets, the bigger and stronger he becomes, making him have more of a chance of beating Godzilla

hulk can regenerate so can't die from physical injury, and his power fuels and gets stronger from his anger. all his power depends on his anger, even healing. he also survived a planet explosion in war hulk ark. wut else... when very angry he's at the point of invincibility becuz he'd heal so fast and he'd b so strong. so bye godzilla...

Okay the Hulk is definitely beating Godzilla
The whole marvel tonnage system in Marvel is basically a joke, its less of a who is stronger, and more of a system of peerage or who is equal to who in strength. Anyone say in the 80 ton range is actually much much higher.
Hulk has lifted Islands and swam with them on his back, and supported mountains, he can pick up Godzilla and toss him all around tokyo.
As for the breath debate, radiation only makes Hulk more powerful, and he can take the Human Torches Nova Flames, (which are roughly as hot as the sun) with no apparent damage.
I like Godzilla, but Hulk is just to powerful.
For any Discworld fans, Hulk is basically a feegle to Godzilla's human.

Yep agreeing with hyper here plus you over sized the hulk if 5 tanks can fit in godzillas mouth you've made the hulk the size of the new king kong

I'm not sure I remember the 5 tanks fitting in Godzilla's mouth. But, this is meant to be the original Godzilla, who is noticeably smaller than the other Japanese Godzillas. This is the one that looked like he was having a little trouble fitting a train car in his mouth. And the hulk all stretched out is definitely as tall as a train car.

First off, nice work. I love the picture. now for something completely silly!
Well as a Godzilla fan I must say the outcome would probably be in Godzilla's favor. now of course we are discussing two fictional and impossible characters, so really anything goes. But my reasoning is as follows:
1) Godzilla's fire: The power of Godzilla's fire is not its radioactive properties, but its heat (which is, of course, related). Though this is never defined, it is clearly hot enough to casue steel, concrete, stone, etc. to simply exploded! Furthermore, in at least one film it was likened to a nuclear explosion. At the hypocenter of a nuclear explosion there is total vaporization of matter. Thus, the effect could be similar for Godzillas "fire", wwhich would mean vaporization of the Hulk. As a counterpoint the Marvel version of Godzilla was not able to destroy the Human Torch (or whatever that fantastic four guy was named) with its fire.
2) The hulk (at full strength) was considered a class 100 (class 80 when not at full strength) marvel character. This meant that he can lift something over 100 tons. Godzilla weighs over 25,000 tons! To simply move godzilla needs to be many times stronger than the Hulk.
3) The marvel godzilla (one of the weaker godzillas in my opinion) battled the Fantastic Four , the Avengers (including Thor) and several other marvel super heros at once and didn't even break a sweat. i think Godzilla could handle the Hulk.
just commenting for fun

Thanks for the response, and now to add some more fuel to the fire. Clearly this type of fiction has nothing to do with science or fact, but here I go anyway:
I am not familiar with the planet hulk story arc, but my recollection was that gamma radiation casued the Hulks mutation, not a nuclear explosion. Regardless, unless the Hulk has some energy absorbing plasma field that I am unaware off when the matter of the Hulk come into contact with the heat of the beam (in the millions of degrees if we use the nuke analogy) the Hulk's flesh and bone, like all matter, will vaporize. Instantly expanding and causing all of the "cooler" surrounding matter (the rest of the Hulk) to explode.
Again, i am not familar with the Planet Hulk arc, but if Godzilla was in this arc, I would think it would be similarily crazy. Being born of a nuclear explosion as well I would only assume that Godzilla would be stronger in proportion to its size. So if the Hulk can split the planet, then proportionally Godzilla can split the Sun!

But yeah Godzilla can do things that I'd love to see Hulk attempt, and fail to do.
Like outright obliterating a black hole!

Just for fun
Dude don't suck the fun out of the art, and as a MARVEL fan and TOHO(that's right I like them both) The Hulk is no stranger to heat and if you knew more about him you know that his powers are similar to Godzilla they both have a healing factor and as the artist said "if angered enough, he could crack the very planet in half". I know godzilla can blast a meteor out of the sky and all that jazz but this wouldn't be the first time the hulk tangled with nuclear giants.
P.S. He can absorb radiation in world war hulk he went through another nuke bomb with out even flinching.

I wasn't trying to suck the fun out of art, i was trying to add to it. My point was that if someone says the Hulk can do this, someone else can say Godzilla can do that. It is all silly opinion and imagination - that is why it is fun! Did you know that at one point in Superman mythology he was able to destroy a star by blowing on it like a candle! Now, I have no grudge against the Hulk, but I have always been more of a Thor person when it comes to the Marvel heavy hitters. And I am more of Marvel man than DC man. Anyway, in my "kaijuverse" Godzilla is actually larger (dark mass) than a galaxy and could destroy (or save) the whole Universe - now that is just damn silly!

Very nice. I actually remember Marvel doing something like this. I didn't know what it was, but the giant Hulkzilla battled a giant Ironman mecha, smashed that and then was itself beat down by a giant Thor. i have no idea what it was all about (i didn't read it -just looked), but the graphics were awesome.

It was fairly recently, within the last two years. To be honest, i wasn't even sure if it was Marvel at the time becuase all the charcaters were slightly different. But the style of rendering matches the Marvel Awesome Series (or some strange title like that) of comics I have seen around. Also, is wasn't technically Godzilla, it was a giant sized Hulk with a tail and other godzilla like features. I'll see if I can find some more info about it.

You have some very valid points there, but here's where I'm coming from.
Yes, Godzilla can basically harness the power of a nuclear explosion, but don't forget, the hulk was born in the midst of an atomic blast. So, you can see how that might help him whereas the breath is concerned.
For the strength, I'm taking my reference from the Planet Hulk story ark, where it was mentioned multiple times that if angered enough, he could crack the very planet in half.
And yeah, the Marvel Godzilla was supposed to be the original Godzilla, which is the weakest of the (Japanese) incarnations.

Hulk is Gamma based, Godzilla is Atomic (all forms) based. (Godzilla's Spiral Ray is all radiation types combined).
Godzilla's blast is compared to the same process that a star namely a blue star the hottest star around (A blue star is hotter then a white one, a white one is hotter then a red one, so basically Hulk is about to take a blue sun to the face, the only place hotter would be in Godzilla's very heart or where ever that beam originates.
So yeah anyone want roast Gamma Mutant?
I'm basing this on what Toho has said about Godzilla.
