yet another chart to show off the various weapons i can design, and again this is from my one storyline "War of Life"one of my more original weapon ideas, the cricket gun (in the middle, 3 from the right) is a minigun-like weapon that, instead of a clip, makes its ammo from a solid brick of metal. this brick is chewed up into tiny pieces inside the box-chamber of the gun, and ripped out via a powerful wind tunnel at such a large velocity that it rips through almost any material effectively destroying vehicles.
i also just have to mention, i think the spartan heavy rifle (bottom, 2 from the right) is now one of my personal favorite designs.

ahh... the ExArk heavy assault rifle. a fine choice!
the top hole is actually a grenade launcher, while the black part on top pops up to house 3 grenades!
it also features a special clip design that when done with one side, (40 rounds) flips around for another 40 shots for a total of 80 rounds per clip!

yeah, i wanted to do something different with the bipod. i can't just design the weapon, i gotta re-invent it...
like the tip on it actually is a magnetic polarizer coil, that propels the bullet faster, often breaking the sound barrier.

I would think they make a loud noise, but as far as breaking the sound barrier most don't travel quite that fast.
I'm talking having that cloud-column of air appear like when jets do it, only as soon as the round exits the barrel. [link]

yes... that famous f-14 picture again is it?....
I don't know but I would think most bullets break the sound barrier... I'm not a munitions expert or anything but I have seen some leave a ring or series of rings as they exit.

is it famous? i just searched "plain breaking sound barrier"...
and maybe they do break it often, at this moment i'm not entirely sure. let's just leave it at "the thing on the tip makes the bullet travel faster than normal"

its famous because it pops up almost every time you search for an image of something breaking the sound barrier, its one of the more commonly used images. its even in my science book at school.

anywho, about that one, it's not the most proffered weapon among the Spartan arsenal due to it having no tactical attachments except for the laser sight and flashlight. but it's extremely easy to reload and use and its small size and numerous firing modes make it an excellent secondary or primary weapon for use with another gun. the spec ops. Spartans who use it often won't use it alone, but it's better than having just a pistol to rely on when their primary weapon runs dry.

true, its good to have something that's a little heavier than a light weapon by you side.
