Background: Chunk was part of a race that called themselves the "Verde Tribe" where small humanoid chameleons live in a giant tree, chunk has lived his entire live there in till he reach the age of maturity where all verde tribe members must pass a test assigned to them in order for them to stay in their homes, if failed then they are banished to never return. Chunk was assign to lead a monster away that was getting close to their home, but spotted 2 kids being attacked by a Manticore nearby. He abandon his test to save the kids but lead to him being banished.
Wandering around away from what he use to called home chunk was shortly was attacked by the same manticore attacking the kids in till he was saved by Emi Wakahisa saving him from the monster and having emi take him into her house. being Grateful to her, chunk acts like a butler to her and teachers her some techniques that the verde tribe uses.
