When it comes to studying or any work handed out by the village teacher, the three friends do their own things.Elinor / Eli / Elliot would rather be practicing their swordsmanship than any sort of studying.
Moth would try to get the work done on time, but would sometimes take it a wee bit to far.
Stesha would just read over Moth's shoulder and then fall asleep due to sheer boredom.
