I had Ruki in mind when I drew this picture, but at the end I realized her room and her didn't make that much of a resemblence and making this a 'Ruki' picture would be a cheap way of getting attention. So I decided to turn her into a generic little girl. I'm even thinking of giving her a name, this way I could have my very own character.

When I started shading this picture I thought it wasn't going to work out, but at the end I think it did. Something I'm kinda proud of is how the hair turned out. I usually suck at hair but I read some tutorials, used my Genius tablet (is very small but it did the trick) and gave it a try. I think it looks just fine. Drawing with two light sources is actually kind of fun, it makes the picture look great.
