I love the pose! It's very strong, and the unusual angle adds even more to the aura of power he's projecting. I do think your proportions could still use a little bit of work (especially in his right leg), though I know this sort of angle requires a lot of foreshortening and is consequently rather tricky to get quite right. I like the color palate you chose, and the fact that the simple background helps the viewer focus on your subject. Overall, it's a lovely piece!
