Her eyes are crimson and she has some black stripes under her eyes, on her neck, back, and tail. Her stinger is permanently stuck outside her tail and is horrifyingly sharp. Her spines are long and spikey. She has only one pair of wings, and the undersides of her wings have leaf veins running through them. She's a bit tall and her arms and wings are more muscular that the rest of her body, which is quite scrawny. POSITIVE:

Confident >Trap's a confident young dragoness. If she believes something's gonna work out well for her in the end, she'll firmly believe it, unless something happens that makes her think otherwise.

Loyal > While she's hard to befriend (in most cases), she's undyingly loyal to those she actually cares about. If you earn her trust, you'll have yourself a powerful, protective ally.

Adamant > She's pretty independent, not letting herself get pushed around that easily. She's willing to stand up for herself if she has to.

NEUTRAL:

Suspicious > Trap doesn't trust anyone that easily. You want her trust? Earn it yourself.

Flirtatious > She immediately can hit on anyone she finds cute. This has led to some...rather awkward situations...

Stoic > She doesn't normally let her emotions show. Only if you keep pushing her will she open up to you.

NEGATIVE:

Hysterical/Delusional > While this trait doesn't appear often, Trap's thoughts and actions get a little...off... She sometimes talks to herself, as if she's talking to another dragon, or frequently looking over her shoulder, as if she's being followed.

Emotionally Unstable > Anxiety, lack of restraint, and horrifying anger issues are just a few ways to describe what she's like if she's having a severe episode. If she attacks someone, she shows no mercy and can't stop herself or control her actions safely, but she's (thankfully) never attacked anyone since early dragonethood, because she seems to physically "shut down" when having an episode. She suffers from schizophrenia, so she also experiences things like extreme mood swings, depression, hallucinations, and any other symptoms associated with the disorder.

Pottymouth > Trap swears. A lot. Especially if she's angry or frustrated. She probably drops at least 27 f-bombs a day, but nothing more extreme than that.

LIKES >> Privacy, cheese pizza, cake, being on the move, chicken

DISLIKES >> Dragons who piss her off, her mental state, scavengers, small dragonets

SECRETS:

 > She regrets killing her father, not because he was her father, but because she had killed a dragon and she didn't stop herself in time.

FEARS:

 > That the world will fall apart, the voices in her head, being discovered as her father's killer, her own thoughts.

WISHES/DREAMS:

 > To forget everything about her past and just live a happy life peacefully.

Baby Dragonet > Trap was born in the Wasp Hive to Thorax, a HiveWing, and Dusty, a LeafWing. Her parents never wanted a dragonet, but of course, they weren't careful. Dusty and Thorax were both carpenters that were always away working on projects or repairing a certain part of the Hive. Her parents didn't really give her all the attention she needed as a baby dragonet, leading her to learn to be more independent at a younger age than others. They hired a nanny to look after her when she was too young to fend for herself, but unfortunately her parents' jobs didn't pay a lot of money, so they couldn't keep paying her. Trap would try to spend her long moments of isolation to the fullest, playing with different inanimate objects in the house and using her imagination as if they were real toys. She would sometimes sneak out of the house to secretly prowl around Wasp Hive and observe the other dragons that lives there. She didn't really get an education as a kid because her parents couldn't afford a tutor for her. And for them, public school was just considered a waste of time.

Dragonet > Things got worse when Trap got older. She started to develop worrying habits, like isolating herself inside her room for days and having extreme mood swings. Of course, her parents didn't do anything to treat their daughter, they didn't have enough money anyway, and she would get into lots of fights for seemingly no reason with other dragons her age. While this taught her to be a decent fighter in combat, it wasn't socially acceptable. One day, her father had enough of dealing with this troublesome waste of scales they called his daughter, so he began to abuse the young dragonet, enough to the point where her mental state began to decay even further.
Trap snapped one day when her father had been about to attack her. She struck first and wound up killing her father by sinking her teeth into his throat. When she realized what she just did, she jumped out an open window and flew away to avoid being prosecuted. To this day, no one knows that she's the one who committed the murder. Not even her mother, who didn't do anything to help her daughter or stop the abuse.
She kept flying for as long as she could, but one night when she was in the middle of flying across the ocean, she had another bad episode and wound up fainting mid-flight due to the stress and her body plunged into the ocean. She nearly drowned, but she was luckily rescued by a pair of SeaWings who were retired Alliance members. Trap was brought to Isle Mezzo because it was the closest place where she could get help.
She stayed in the psychiatric ward for a few weeks, describing what was going on in her head to the doctors when asked about it. These symptoms led to a final diagnosis of schizophrenia, much to Trap's dismay. When the SeaWing couple visited her once she was mostly back to normal, they offered to act as her parental guardians. The SeaWings, whose names were Barracuda and Barnacle, allowed Trap to stay in their small home on the beach, where she was finally given the attention and care she never got from her biological parents.
They taught her how to read, write, do simple math problems, and about the other tribes and the world they live in. Trap was fascinated by it all. Barracuda and Barnacle's son, Pacific, was a young member of the Alliance and visited his parents often. Sometimes he watched Trap while his parents were in town and helping with some of her lessons. Trap loved getting this education, and felt as if she finally belonged somewhere. When Pacific taught her about the Alliance and the University, Trap was hooked.
She started begging her guardians to attend the University, and even Pacific chimed in, saying that she would benefit a lot more being there. He said that she could be taught a lot more about the world there, as well as being exposed to a healthy sociable environment where she could develop her social skills even further. His parents were hesitant at first, but after some more pleading from Trap and encouraging from Pacific, they finally agreed to let him go and talk with people at the University to let her attend.
Of course it would take a while to work things out due to her mental disorder, but because of her improvement since getting treatment 2 years ago, there was a possibility she could attend. A few months later, Pacific flew to his parents' house with a big excited smile on his face, carrying a letter in his talons. He asked Trap to open it as it was for her, and when she read it, she let out an excited squeal and hugged Pacific. The letter had said that she had been accepted after a long time of consideration. Nowadays she still visits Barracuda, Barnacle, and Pacific whenever she's allowed to. As for her mental state, it has greatly improved, as long as she keeps treating it.
She later left the AU after realizing that she didn't feel connected to the environment or other dragons there, and she's currently helping her family by working as a bartender at the restaurant her adopted family owns.

CHARACTER CREATION VARIANTS: None

Trap had developed the mental disorder schizophrenia as a young dragonet. It is a very serious mental disorder that can greatly affect those who don't seek treatment. It results in multiple things like hallucinations, delusion, hearing voices, and extremely scattered thinking patterns and habits that can affect daily maintenance. Not treating it can have disastrous results, such as (trigger warning) self harm, suicide, drug/alcohol abuse, other mental illnesses, social isolation, homelessness, and possibly insanity, among other things. There is no way to prevent it, as well as no known cause or cure. I gave this to Trap because not many people are aware of how damaging and dangerous this disorder can become and people who have it aren't always treated well. I wanted to bring more awareness to this because Trap (as far as I know) is the only character that suffers from this. Because she's being treated for it, she doesn't have frequent or regular episodes anymore, but if she does, she starts to see and hear things that aren't real. She also starts having delusional and/or unrealistic thoughts. This can lead to either an anxiety attack or she ends up hurting herself because she tries to take the mental pain away by scratching/slashing her claws over rough surfaces like rock because she can't handle so much anxiety or distress at once. She is highly more likely to take it all out on herself than on others. Her hallucinations mainly consist of seeing dragons she knew in the past or ones she's never met before, even dragons that don't exist. The voices in her head are of dragons she knows, has known, or doesn't know. These voices are always yelling at her or berating her with negative remarks about herself. Her main response to all this is yelling back at her imaginary tormentors to leave her alone or running/flying away to somewhere private where she keeps herself for long amounts of time until she's taken to the hospital or until she's mentally stable again. However she only has an episode every few months or so because she's taking medicine for her disorder. (Hallucinations and voices can be ET responses if she has an episode in rp, but this RARELY happens to her nowadays)
