Description
[ Clothed Version - Sleepy Midna ] [ Nude Version - Sleepy Midna ] [ Sleepy Zelda ]I had been preparing this for Otakon, but I'm glad I'm finished with it in time for AnimeNext too, even if it is last minute. This is a remake of a picture I did back in 2003. I really liked the lineart, but looking back at it, I knew I could do better by now, so I did.
Edit: 10.3.2007 - Link now has a companion piece, Sleepy Zelda .

I'm glad you used the original link instead of the new version. Especially the shield! But maybe you could've given him the sylver gauntlets or put Epona in the background or something.
All in all it should be rated "R" for "Rocks me socks!"

It's very good, but I see only one flaw; where Link is sitting on the grass, it doesn't show that the grass bends under his weight. Bended grass would make this totally perfect, which it is otherwise. Just make his affect on the environment a little more obvious.

This is incredible down to the last detail. You didn't miss a thing, what with the spats of mud on his shoes, the minor damage to the glove laying on his stomach, even the play of shadow and light on his shield and shirt indicating the sun peering down through the tree above that we can't see, but we know is there. It's just...wow. Wonderful work and very deserving of a daily deviation. Congratulations.
