Description
A redesign of the two royals based off of my King Nightfall and thehappiestgolucky Queen SolarΒ The two princess are actually twins, but because of Luna's tie to the smaller heavenly body, her size is smaller than her sister's. They were born to the two deities of the day and night hundreds of thousands of years ago to serve as the new goddesses of the sun and moon. Celestia is the goddess of the Sun, harvest and fertility. Luna is the goddess of the Moon, dreams and the ocean.

They look absolutely amazing! I love how Luna gains the patterns and Celestia gains the gradient, it makes them not take traits solely off of one parent.

Yeah, they look like they can be the offspring of those two! I wanted them to have a limited color palette, celestia getting pinks and golds where luna got blues and purples. I would have given them shoes but I just loved their shiny hooves too much.Β

Yeah! It shows their duty whilst also being unique from their parents.
I had an idea that maybe this is their true looks, but that was before moving to Equestria to take over and maybe losing power in the process. Maybe in their old home where their parents ruled they have access to all their power and look like this.
Like they moved primarily because their parents died/went missing (I headcanon they died so) because they were terrified to take the throne of a powerful state, so ran away and ruled Equestria because no one knew them at all and it was easier to impress them. Then they matured as rulers but can't move back now because of duties, but an event could happen with the mane 6 that means they see their either dea/alive parents and finally rise to their places and turn like this.
