Back at it again with character refs! Remember this guy? Of course not! I drew his only once and kept his whole aroace acceptance story in my head! In fact here's the only time he appeared on this account!

Name: Kubeba

As a cub: Kubeba was born as the second son to Shujaa and Yangu, he was the last of his litter of two. In fact, he was born a day after his brother Chanzo. Despite this, he acted just like a big brother to Chanzo. As a cub, Kubeba was much more mature than anyone else in his friend group, but he would have his silly moments, often making fun of the princes for being disobedient to their father Maroon.

As an adult: Kubeba never took a mate, in fact he felt weird for never finding any lion or lioness appealing. Some made fun of him or tried to pressure him into being mates. But after talking to some hyenas about it, he found out what being aroace meant and found out that was what he was. His family accepted him but the king was disgusted and forced a betrothal between Kubeba and his next daughter, even though his wife Kenya wasn't even pregnant. Eventually, Kubeba and a close friend left the pride and created the Goldenlands in the desert. The lions they took in helped them find their way through the desert life and became one of the strongest kingdoms fast.
