I don't see them. I use the search bar and type in Nel's name to find these stories. The only one I've seen is related to mine is "How we miss him" in which, yeah, the person described my Nel right down to the tee especially with the purple crystals.

I remember when I first saw that. We were third on the server to down Deathwing (2nd on Alliance) and amid all the cheers of doing it, a bunch of us tried to watch the cine. It was facepalm then and it's still facepalm now, looking back at it.

Neltharion went mad and drove forward the creation of the Dragon Soul prior to ever being Deathwing. Deathwing is just another name for Neltharion, so no. Neltharion wasn't a good guy. He has tried to end the world. Several times.

No evil character ever is bad from the beginning. Just because you take a new name, does not mean you are not the same person from before the change. He was corrupted and did evil deeds before he was named Deathwing anyway.
Neltharion is Deathwing, and Deathwing is Neltharion. Simple as that. Your comment is redundant, in that there's no difference between Neltharion and Deathwing.

Nethalrion was a good aspect wise and just, he did not start doing bad things in the actual lore until he began hearing the voices of the old gods and they started corrupting him

I was SO hoping for at least SOME redemption of Neltharion, since nearly all of the dragon flights have been screwed. and Korialstrasz.... o poor Korialstrasz....

I really hoped they'd made the cata story better,specially cus it had loads of stuff to do with the dragon aspects,which was always interesting D;
Although the whole slaying Malygos deal in WoTLK was just dumb as hell imo :/
,he did exactly what he was told to do by the titans,protect and watch over the magic of Azeroth,not the mortals.He was basically trying to prevent a possible return of the burning legion since they were first drawn to azeroth cus of the night elves' reckless use of magic etc etc...
so that really got on my nerves...and imagine how cool would it be if he was still alive and confronted Neltharion in cata,since they were once best buds but his corruption got into way and totally effed up the blue dragonflight,so the potential of all sorts of story stuff and conflicts could've been made fff,and heck even possibly trying to rid Nethy's old god corruption...(all those hints of possible redemption in deepholme ...)
but naw,lets just go with lazy writing and killing off good major lore chars simply cus they went ''craaazyyyy'' ,theres no other way to deal with that.

This is how it happens. In those scenes Alexstrasza said that the aspects gave up their powers to empower the Dragon Soul and then quoted that the age of mortals has begun. All the while touching totes preggers Aggra. And it is the most chiche ending ever. And Nel is pissed because he died for that sucky ending.

Firstly, epic pic.
Well Blizz isn't know for the quality of their story lines for most part I'd say. Esp after the whole Kerrigan (in SC1) & Arthas (in WC3) had a very similar 'fall from grace' storyline. Then there was the whole 'there must always be a Lich King' from Pirates 'there must always be a Captain'.
The sad thing is, even if they did redeem Neltharion, they would still get a whole bunch of ppl complaining about 'wtf blizz! You copied Sarah Kerrigan in SC2!'

I do feel bad for Kalec too. As you said in your journal, they built up a whole arc about it in Twilight of the Aspects (partially included in-game as a questline for a Legendary item). I'll quote someone from one of the forums:

I wonder for Nozdormu too. He can't put the Dragon Soul back in it's proper place in time now. Wouldn't that be creating a kind of time paradox? Unless I missed something and it got sucked back into it's proper place in the timeline.

One of the guys on the board mentioned that when he spoke to Nozdormu, Nozdormu said that with the loss of his powers = Dragon Soul returning back to the Well of Eternity.

I think that was pretty much every ones reaction... I don't mind the pandas, or that they even decided to actually kill Nel although it makes me sad. Thing Im pissed about is that there are no longer any cool magical things to this world anymore. Next humans will take over and progress to the modern age. Yup yup.

With the focus of the new expansion on Horde/Alliance and their leaders,(They plan to give Varian and Jaina some love) I fear these Aspects are now going to be ignored and forgotten and we'll never hear from Deathwing again. Kinda like the new Lich King they put on the throne at the end of WotLK. the story is concluded, I just wish it had ended on a...higher note.

Guess they miss jim Sterling's rant on that games are not movies especially with bad endings Blizzard.
Other than that the whole its mortal time and understand them things annoys me as well uh game designers I know issues about being mortal, I am one!
You know what I haven't been? An immortal all powerful being that serves as guardian of the world. Also, creating character development shouldn't be too hard as well; they could describe how much it sucks to see love ones die and defending a world that doesn't care what I do and they hate my existence because what I am. Heck how about being in a world where all of life is pretty much destroyed only habitable by monsters and it was your function to create life but its almost impossible to create new life so you are doomed to wonder a dead world forever, trying to survive and in a futile attempt, bring the old world back for the world will never let you part from its hellish landscape.
