Like I don't understand why Scrappy-Doo gets so much hate. Can someone possibly explain why he does?Scrappy-Doo belongs to Warner Brothers

Because of the unnecessary shorts with just him, Scooby and Shaggy. I like him in his 1983 to 1988 appearances.
But honestly, the Scrappy hate is just a waste of energy.

I don't hate Scrappy but I do hate the Director's that made Scrappy into a villian

From what I scene in review and retrospectives, he was stealing roles from the other established characters. There was also overuse of the character. That is a bad combination for bringing a new character.Β
When he had a spin off show it lead to questions if he done something bad that made him be with another family member.

I loved him, at the serie. Sadly the hungarian version was deleted, and many american shows was dissappear.. i loved them to watch

It's because people found him annoying they feel he didn't contribute anything to Scooby-Doo and apparently nobody liked the joke of him constantly trying to get into fights that's why they made him the villain of the movie to get rid of him. Honestly though I'm disappointed I really liked Scrappy honestly I hope they bring them back someday

I never knew he was so hated. Scrappy is a very underrated character and doesn't appear often in the Scooby Doo franchise. He appeared in some of the early cartoons and as a villain in the movie but that's it.Β
