midterm project for my drawing class. we were allowed to choose any media, any subject matter, but it had to be inspired by a piece by a professional artist.the image i chose was a digital drawing that illustrated a boy riding on the back of a dog-like mech in a forest. i worked with that and made the child a girl to emphasize the innocence of youth.
i haven't drawn with a pen tablet in ages, by the way. ha.
time: 9-10hrs.
