Description
Drawing this piece felt surprsingly relaxing. I actually don't want to go back to drawing with my right hand anymore, haha.
When I draw with my dominant hand, I'm much more critical and judgemental about what I'm doing, but when I'm drawing with my non-dominant hand I feel like it's OK to screw up. It doesn't have to be perfect, because it never can be perfect. All I can do is accept reality as it is, and do my best. This way I'm allowing myself room to experiment, and play around with my materials and techniques, like a newborn baby would. At the same time, I also noticed that I observed my object much more keenly, and without using my intellect. I just look at what's infront of me, place my hand on the paper and draw what I see. That's all. I think our intelligence tends to get in the way of us actually enjoying the moment. The here and now. Perhaps that's what Realism means? Reality means? Haha, I shouldn't get ahead of myself. Oh well, I hope you enjoy this little drawing with me!

I tried that once, did not go well, but your drawing is awesome... I might do a complete drawing using my left hand only, you have inspired me.

Very nice!
Drawing is one of the things I can do pretty well with my right hand (I'm lefthanded), but holding a spoon results in my t-shirt and face looking like I was a two year old kid. Go figure.

That's excellent, especially for using a hand you're not usually drawing with! Definitely keep it up, ambidexterity is a handy trait !

Never try using my left for drawing. Sounds intersting idea. It turn out pretty nice considered its not from your dominant hand!
