Description
This is a scribble I made whilst wandering around Central Station in Rotterdam. It felt exciting to draw in public with so many strangers passing by. I felt oddly comfortable, and at ease being surrounded with so much human traffic. I don't know if there's such a thing as "exchanging energies", but I can definitely feel something special each time I visit a crowded place like the city! My heart rate tends to go faster, and I feel a buzz all throughout my body. Unfortunately I live an hour and a half from Rotterdam, so I don't have many opportunities to draw publicly. I can't wait for my next chance to draw from life again, and this time it will be of other people!Related content

Though you used red for the entire picture, I can see different colors! Wonderful sketch

A fun, expressive, lively sketch...of sketching! Β The red ink makes it all the more appealing being less ubiquitous than the standard black...I look forward to seeing more.

Oooh another meaning to travel sketches, then! I do tend to enjoy those, yet I don't do nearly enough of them. I really like the angle and perspective of this piece! Very interesting and attention grabbing! The wrinkles of fabric and hatching of skin are executed very nicely. Lovely work!

Thank you so much for your kind words. We don't do nearly enough of ANYTHING! Haha. Just give it a try. My advice would be not to try drawing things that move too fast, at least in the very beginning.
I had the hardest time trying to draw all the people brisk walking at the station.

You are very welcome! You have lovely pieces!
Very true. I did a series of study sketches of a particular setting once (only the Lord above knows where those went X'D) and one study involved sketching the people that passed. And you are right! Photographic memory isn't an ability I possess XD
