Not only does he move from Earth, all the way to a distant Solar System. (Something that would require faster-than-light travel, considering the nearest star is 4.3 light-years from the Sun.) So not only does he travel to another Solar System, he travels to one that was very distant. All of this before he sneezed away Earth.

1. Yeah. Superman can, pick up a comic instead of looking at the animated shows. Hell, I remember him casually sneezing away a solar system by accident.
2. In physical strength? Since when? Pre-Crisis Superman can move moons and planets. And those ki blasts won't mean crap if he doesn't have the chance to fire them.
3. So what are you telling me? That he's gonna have the chance to run off at near death, heal, and come back? He's not gonna get the chance to do any of that at all. Superman will speedblitz him before he can even think to use anything. He's just that damn fast.

He still dies like everyother time he fights. Superman doesn't die very often, and he didn't actually die since he got better without some dumb overused deus ex machina. Seriously Goku loses by default for needing some kind of plot device to win at all, plain and simple no Dragonballs no Goku. Superman is smart enough to put two and two together and smash some balls to make Goku a none issue.

superman is not very smart bro...sorry. he wouldn't smash the dragon balls cuz he wouldn't know to. i agree with ya on a few things though. goku dies all the time. but at least they have a really good reason for him to be more powerful. not like superman. all he has is the im superman and i can do whatever the hell i want...sorry dude but thats a bit boring. 90's supes is my favorite. not this god like character he evolved into. superman was once a really interesting character...not so much anymore.

1. That was Post-Crisis. Post-Crisis is after the retcon that made all DC heroes much, much weaker. Pre-Crisis could accidentally sneeze away star systems, while Cell had to output a ton of effort to even theorize that he was able to.
2. Superman doesn't always use his speed, but when he does decide to use his speed, he proves each time that no one can touch him. The only reason he doesn't speedblitz anyone is because then the comics would become boring.
3. Goku is not on the level of Superman. Not in the slightest. Superman could fly from one end of the universe to the other in seconds. He search the entire universe in minutes. He is capable of going faster than light. Goku may have fought NEAR the speed of light, but Superman surpasses it on occasion.

i like how you pointed out how boring that would be if he used these powers all the time...because it would be. the problem with supermans powers are the fact that he can be as powerful as he wants (or should i say that he can be as powerful as the stupid writers want him to be.)he can previously get the shit kicked out of him by a much weaker opponent and people say oh he was holding back. but if supes was as tough as people say...he could subdue anyone. even goku without truly hurting them. but... thats why most of his storylines are dumb alot of times. (keep in mind i like supes more.)you cant be so tough but holding back all the time but get the shit kicked out of you by much much weaker people. he lifts the earth in one issue then needs woderwomen and martian manhunter's help another. that makes no sense at all but everyone will ignore this because we all just want superman to win. and supes doesnt trump goku in everything. fighting ability... not even close. the only thing he really trumps him in is strength. he's not faster. teliportation will always be faster then the speed of sound. and also the dc data base has gone on to say that his laser beams can only get a few miles wide at best...this is what dc said not me. so thats really taking out the blast that goku has ? goku could destroy earth in his base form. supes will win but only because he is that kid you played with when no matter what you did you could never hurt because he just kept pulling new powers out his ass.

3. No, unfortunately, Superman isn't that fast to search one end of the universe. He can travel at the speed of light and little higher, but Flash and his kin are faster than he is. Thor's hammer could travel faster than Superman can fly.

1-yes, post crisis is where we are now, pre crisis superman punches God in one edition, and is attacked by flying pies in other. There was no logic. It was like Bugs Bunny.
2-He RARELY uses his super speed in combat, no matter the reason, he is often hit by beeings that have no super speed whatsoever
3-Super could not reach these "faster than light" speeds on earth, it would destroy the atmosphere.
So there you have it, it would be a kickass battle, depending on which time period goku would be from, on some stages it would be a piece of cake for the sayan

1. Blame the writers. The point is that he's extremely powerful, leagues above Goku.
2. If these two characters are extremely determined to kill eachother, Goku will die before he fires off a synapse in his brain.
3. He's still able to, and it's above Goku's level. LEAGUES above him.
I'm a fan of Goku more than I am of Superman, but I don't deny that pre-crisis would beat him into paste.

so i have a quick question cuz most of supermans shyt is just plain ol confusing. if he is so tough and so smart, why didnt he fly doomsday into space and drop him ??? really think about it before fighting with me.how is it that everyone is like superman holds back and his durability is so out of control but yet doomsday's last punch which killed him, how is it that the shockwave broke a few windows and knocked a few helicopters out the sky ??? but no superman can take someone smashing the earth on him an have no scratches right ??? no to many inconsistencies. dbz chars have been known to destroy planets in there battles. not sayin superman cant...just sayin he has never truly faced anyone as powerful as goku and please dont say darkside and please dont say doomsday. maybe superboy prime and that was bad script writing. he should have never won that. i dont know much about all this crisis stuff. what i do know is that the 90's version of superman the one that struggles to stop trains and planes is no match for goku.(im sure i just set myself up for the "he doesn't wanna hurt the people in the train thing.) this new ridiculously powerful guy...you know, the one who is so powerful that he's quite boring to read about. oh yeah he can totally beat goku.i loved superman more because he was interestingly powerful...now its just annoying.
