Description
Y'know... like the PC adventure game Sam & Max Hit The Road... except, instead of 'The Road' it is 'Your Screen'... WHY AM I EVEN EXPLAINING THIS! : OYah, I'm a big Sam & Max fan, I really enjoyed that old adventure game (and the TV series)... and decided to do this wallpaper to commemorate the fact that they're finally doing a new game!
Max is meant to be licking the screen there, in case you were wondering... though you shouldn't be. Wondering that is.

I reckon I'm willing to wait for the DVD, rather than having to let Steam anywhere near my computer! : T

Class man!
Real class!
I never managed to play the game though. I loved Grim Fandango, and when I completed that I went out looking for Sam & Max... Could never find it!

Heh, wicked : D
You must try finding the game through abandonware sites though, it's bound to be there somewhere!

Np dude.
Talking about Steam...I tried installing a version of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (with it's dreaded StarForce protection)
In case you didn't know, StarForce was developed by a bunch of Russians and it messes around with your hardware at bit level.
Every copy from the master DVD has a unique angle between the first and last bit, copies of the copy have a different angle. So StarForce scans your DVD to check for the unique master copy angle, and no going forward if it can't verify it.
I installed the game and waited for it to verify and StarForce promptly sent my DVD writer to hell. o.O It was so broken, it wouldn't even open up. I removed the game and everything that came with it and bought a new DVD writer, swearing I will never touch StarForce again. Luckily UBIsoft received tons of complaints about StarForce and they removed it from all their products

Don't worry, ah'm all read up on the intricasies of StarForce... along with the utter disgust that it invoked within the gaming community! They released a patch recently that deletes all traces of their product from your computer... just goes to show eh

Awesome likeness... now, in truth, I never did play Sam & Max Hit The Road. I played the demo's, I watched the show, but I never played the full game. However, I believe these episodes will be loaded via the almighty Steam, aye? Well, I freaking hate Steam. They control my pc in some way. They send my data off somewhere. They randomly preload stuff. Ugh, me hates steam.
Other than that, the only thing bothering me about this picture is the licking. You don't perfectly see the tongue racing across the screen. But it's a minor detail and I'm nitpicky. It looks awesome as is and my ravings can be fully ignored!

I totally understand... I will never let Steam onto my computer, even if it means missing out on some awesome games! Thankfully though, once they're done releasing each episode, they'll release a DVD compilation in the shops... so I'm willing to wait for that!
No worries with the raving though, 'tis always good to get some crits

I won't, can't play HL2 or Sin:Emergence without it. Well I can, but that's illegal.
Massively insanely fun.

Heh, true I suppose it is illegal... but hell, in my case I did go out and buy an original copy of HL2, only to discover I would have to install Steam... so I just got a fully working version from someone else.

Heh, yup... the game came before the series actually... though I think there was also a comic book even before the game! It's all quite confusing really XD

lol! it's always first a book, then a movie and then a game. Look at Harry Potter. Now, that was just a lame idea to start with if you ask me. I've never really liked Harry Potter. :/ But I didn't condem it to hell either like most people who said it was from the devil! LOL, some people are so... [insert whatever you wont find offensive]

Maybe some spit droplets on the window and you wouldn't have to explain the licking part.
I love looking at your art. You've come so far Gibbo. Great coloring. Great Lines.
